๐ก The “Troponin” Question
If you go to Urgent Care, ask: “Do you have rapid Troponin testing here?”
An EKG only shows electrical problems, but a Troponin blood test shows actual heart muscle damage. Many Urgent Cares don’t have this. If they don’t, and your pain is severe, skip Urgent Care and go straight to the ER. You need that blood test to be safe.
